Learning to Savor the Love of God

God’s love breaks our hearts and then binds them up again. I have heard it said many times that we will awaken to the wonder of the love of God when we awaken to the seriousness of our sin. But my experience in the morning sunshine, and Peter’s experience by the sea, demonstrate that the reverse is also true: We will awaken to the seriousness of our sin when God drenches us with the wonder of His love.
